Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA)

The Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) is a free application for students with undocumented status (including DACA and Hope/Dream Act recipients) as well as other select applicants.

Saint Martin's Scholarships

All students who have undocumented status or DACA status are eligible for our merit-based scholarships and other Saint Martin's scholarships. Our scholarships range from $500 to full-tuition.

Our Office of Financial Aid team can help you complete your WASFA. They also help with awarding student scholarships, creating financial aid packages, and answers questions about state aid, grants, and work-study.

FERPA protects the privacy of student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education.

A common misconception is that undocumented students are not protected by FERPA. Undocumented students are protected by FERPA and can’t be discriminated against. No federal law prevents undocumented students from accessing higher education.

No, if you complete the WASFA you don’t have to complete the FAFSA.
